OILS
Oil Inline Separation
OILS is an automated, solid-state device that is installed in a waterline to separate both light (L) and dense (D) non-aqueous phase liquids (NAPL) from water. This coalescor device will remove free or mechanically emulsified oils.
Typical applications are industrial wastewater and groundwater treatment for oils, fuels, ascetal (PCB), and other solvents. |

|
- Fully automated operation and maintenance free process (only requires annual inspection)
- Eliminates facility cost, hazardous classification, and hazards of traditional technology
- Enclosed process eliminates off-gassing and the need for air treatment and air permits
|
- Recovery of free and mechanically emulsified NAPL even in the presence of surfactants (limited capability on chemically emulsified)
- No moving parts, completely driven by line pressure therefore no additional pumps are needed
- Can be built to Class I / Div 1 and Class I / Div 2 and non-hazardous locations
